Competitive
Benchmarking
I selected 4 hotel booking mobile apps to benchmark against; lastminute.com, Smith Hotels, Klook and Hilton Honors. My aim was to learn how best-in-class apps solve the problems I was trying to solve, understand the conventions I should follow and highlight best practice that I should emulate.
I observed the software functioning of; the homepage, search & select and how users inputted details. I reviewed each app with screenshots and commentary to explain what’s happening, why it’s noteworthy and what are the positives, negatives and points for consideration.
